The award was presented at an event in August 2025, and the club recognised the hard work of its staff, particularly the course superintendent and course officer. The 115th Irish PGA Championship,The 115th Irish PGA Championship, also called the Brown & Brown Irish PGA Championship, was held at Monkstown Golf Club in Cork from August 4–7, 2025. This was the first time the event took place at Monkstown, which had recently completed significant upgrades to its course and practice facilities. The tournament was won by Simon Thornton, marking his fourth victory.
